Child Care Services

Owl offers care for children three (3) months of age to 10 years old.  

The information contained here provides an explanation of our infant, toddler, preschool, nusery school, JK/K and school-age programs.

Infant program 

(3 to 18 months)

This program is offered at two of Owl's locations: Lincoln Road in Waterloo and Blessed John Paul II in Kitchener. 

 

Infant care is only offered on a full time basis (5 full days per week).

 

Toddler program 

(18 months to 2.5 years)

Offered at six of seven locations. The final centre, St. Matthew, will offer a toddler program beginning in July 2014.

 

Parents may choose the option of enrolling their child for 2, 3, 4 or 5 full days per week. There are limited spots available for 16 month olds.

  • If choosing less than 5 days per week, the days must be standard for each week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)
Preschool program

(2.5 to 5 years of age)

Owl's preschool program is offered at all locations on a full-day basis.

 

Parents may choose the option of enrolling their child for 2, 3, 4 or 5 full days per week. There are limited spots available for 16 month olds.

  • If choosing less than 5 days per week, the days must be standard for each week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)

 

Limited spaces may be available for half days preschool (includes lunch) and/or a nursery school program. Contact the centre for more details.

Before and After School 

(4 to 10 year olds)

Offered at all Owl locations except for Lincoln Road.


Parents have the option of enrolling their child for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week.

 

Extra care is available for PA days, March Break and part of the Christmas Break. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

 

We also offer a Summer Camper program during July and August for this age group.
