viability guaranteed logoDid you know that there may be two before & after school programs offered at your school. One by Owl and possibly another by the school. This gives parents choice. Owl's program has guaranteed viability… programs always run, so you can expect the same quality care year after year. Extra care is available for PA days, March Break and part of the Winter Break. We also offer a Summer Camp program during July and August for this age group.

In our before and after school program, children engage in learning, create adventures and nurture personal relationships. Offered at all school-based Owl locations:  John Sweeney, Our Lady of Fatima, Saint John Paul IISt. Brigid, St. Luke, St. Matthew, and St. Nicholas. Choose before school, after school or both. Parents have the option of enrolling their child for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week.

*NOTE: Owl Child Care runs a separate program from the school. Some schools we are located at run their own school-age programs. Be sure to visit our list of centre locations to find the correct contact information.

Our educators are registered members of the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators, and beyond that, they are friendly, compassionate and truly care about the children.

Every day in Owl’s before and after school programs, our educators communicate with school staff and parents in order to ensure a smooth transition to and from school and then home at the end of the day.

Children engage in outdoor play when the weather allows. This is a time for large group games, cooperative play, nature walks and even science experiments.

Our classrooms offer space for children to do project work, creative activities and to interact with their peers…it’s a learning time, but it’s focused on the children’s interests where the educators act as co-learners.

At Owl, we serve nutritious snacks in our before and after school programs, as well as lunches during PA days and camp. All food is prepared on-site by our in-house cook.

Safety is a priority at Owl, starting with a secured entrance with key-fob access at each centre. In addition, our educators are trained in Standard First Aid & CPR, the use of Epi-Pens, and other requirements of Individual Support Plans.

At Owl Child Care, we give families peace of mind; Every child is valued and reaches their full potential. We look forward to meeting you. Contact us today to book a tour at one of our many locations.
