Objectives: To further explore the children's interest of string, which developed into our project of sewing. The children were interested in learning how to sew many different creations and wanted to speak to the experts to learn more!
The project started when the While sewing some clothing for our stuffed animals, we decided it would be fun to dress up in
different kinds of clothes as an extension of our exploration of fabric!
Many children were inspired to sew their own pillows or pin cushions. Some made fun characters.
We ended our project with a party where parents were invited to help their child create a quilt patch for our final sewing piece.
