Objectives: To further explore the infant room interest of lights.
Sparked by Henry’s daily observations of “light” as he entered the room, the infant educators pondered what more they could explore with this interest. Together the infants and educators explored different forms of light both natural and artificial. They introduced items such as flash lights, disco lights and engaged in messy experiences involving black lights. They wrapped up the project with a field study to the Museum with the infants, families and educators.
