In the month of May, the School Age 3 group has been showing incredible creativity with popsicle sticks. What started as a simple building activity quickly turned into the idea of creating a tiny room. With popsicle sticks and a variety of loose parts provided, the children used their imaginations to design and build a miniature space complete with a plant, a table, an art area, and many other thoughtful details.
Grace and Sloane took the lead on this project, as it was their original idea. They shared that they plan to continue adding more rooms and eventually turn it into a full house. Grace proudly mentioned, “This tiny room will have everything and more!”
This creation was a wonderful opportunity for the children to strengthen their fine motor skills while also expressing their creativity and imagination. Watching their ideas come together using hot glue, paper, and a variety of materials was truly exciting. The project came together beautifully, and I loved seeing their vision come to life.
Great work to everyone involved — I can’t wait to see what they create next!
