Lincoln Road Learning Stories
We love sharing all the learning that is taking place in our programs. Every program at our centre shares a new story each month, so be sure to check back often! You can also email and print each story to share with friends and family.
The toddlers have been exploring with all things science. Their interest stemed with the tile magnets in our classroom. To expand on their knowledge, educator Elaine brought in some horse shoe magnets that have both a positive and a negative side. This means one side will magnetize to the other magnet, while the other side will repel against it. The toddlers explored what these horseshoes magnets could do by putting them together, on cooking trays and even the door handles.

Projects evolve based on the children's interests, where our educators act as co-learners. Projects are documented in three phases; generating ideas by making a plan, implementing the plan and reflecting on the learning.
